SECRET WORLD

Secret World is an Australian band formed in 2023, hailing from Sydney’s inner-western suburbs.The group features seasoned musicians from the Australian hardcore scene, including membersof Speed, Trophy Eyes, and Downside. They came together to explore a more melodic punksound, blending elements of ’90s alternative rock with their hardcore roots. In March 2023, Secret World released their self-titled demo. This demo showcased their uniquemix of melodic punk and alternative rock and they quickly established themselves in theAustralia scene through their energetic live performances.Building on their initial success, the band released their debut EP, „Guilt Is Good,“ on November15, 2024. Produced by Fletcher Matthews, the record expands upon their sound – The leadsingles, „Living Less“ and „The Way It Goes,“ highlight their evolution towards more dynamichooks and a blend of post-hardcore and alternative rock influences, with songs like “Silouhette”and “On Show” leaning more towards a darker, grungier sound.
