In October 2008, Unearth returned with the fourth studio record, "The March"; the album has a theme of both the evil and hopeful sides of humanity and features abundant guitar solos and a bulldozing power-groove. Singer Trevor Phipps claims "This is our most crushing record to date. We pulled back some of the speed on this album just a bit so we could make the tunes more pummeling."
