Alesana Announce European Tour in January 2012

Upcoming Album “A Place Where The Sun Is Silent” Streaming on Altpress.com

Melodic heavy rock band Alesana have just announced a 2012 European tour. The month-long tour will kick off in Germany (Karlsruhe) on January 13th 2012 and take the North Carolina (US) based band through 12 European countries. Vocalist/guitarist Shawn Milke is very excited about the upcoming tour and invites everyone to “grab a friend, grab your daggers, and get your asses out to see us when the calendar turns to 2012! Come see what life is like when it is trapped below the earth in a place where the sun is silent.”

Alesana will release their forthcoming album A Place Where The Sun Is Silent this October 24th on Epitaph Records. The album is a sonic interpretation of the 14th century poem "Dante's Inferno," a dramatic account of one man's decent into hell, retold utilizing the group's powerful mixture of thunderous aggression and heartfelt melody. Fans are invited to pre-preorder the album by going to iTunes or the Epitaph Store.

A Place Where The Sun Is Silent is now streaming in its entirety on Alternative Press. To listen go to Altpress.com. Alesana also recently released a video for “Circle VII: Sins Of The Lion” which can be seen on YouTube.
